Springing Ahead - 2021 ITRC Virtual Spring Meeting

ITRC is excited to host the 2021 Spring Meeting virtually from April 13-22, 2021, with various meetings ranging from 12:00-5:00pm EST each day. The entire event will be free and an opportunity to learn more about ITRC and the technical teams. Our meetings include environmental leaders and professionals from state agencies; Tribes; EPA, DOE, DOD and other federal agencies; industry; and NGOs. 

The virtual event will open with a plenary session, featuring a panel of Environmental Justice experts and a virtual ceremony for the presentation of our Lifetime Achievement and Impact Awards.

Sean Moriarty

Chief Advisor for Regulatory Affairs - New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection


Sean leads and manages the New Jersey DEP’s internal legal team, and serves as its general counsel on all matters of regulatory compliance and rulemaking. He also is a member of the Commissioner’s executive team, providing input on key priority initiatives that include climate change and environmental justice.

Myra Reece

Director of Environmental Affairs - South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control


A member of the DHEC team for more than 30 years, Myra Currently serves as Director of Environmental Affairs, which has identified Environmental Justice as a key priority. Myra has dedicated her service to several national organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Air Act Advisory Committee and the E-Enterprise Leadership Council. She was appointed the Environmental Council of the States Planning Committee Chair in the spring of 2019.

Conchita San Nicolas Taitano

Division Administrator, Air and Land Division - Guam EPA 

Conchita has been with the Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) for 29 years, working as the Air and Land Division Administrator for over 22 years. She oversees the Air Program, Pesticides Program, Hazardous Waste Program (which includes RCRA C, RCRA I and SPCC), and the Solid Waste Program.


The remainder of the Spring Meeting will include technical team meetings and events for our respective program areas. You are invited to select any of our six team meetings with your registration to learn more:

  • Effective Application of Guidance Documents to Hydrocarbons Sites
  • Environmental Data Management Best Practices
  • Microplastics
  • PFAS
  • Use of Soil Background Concentrations in Risk Assessment
  • Strategies for Preventing and Managing Harmful Cyanobacterial Blooms (Benthic)

Registration for the 2021 Spring meeting grants access to all sessions, but attendance is not required.

Sponsorship

Limited sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2021 Spring Meeting. With an expected attendance of over 500 environmental and health professionals, sponsors receive numerous benefits.

Sponsorship includes your logo in all meeting email announcements, social media posts and the posting of meeting materials on the ITRC website. Sponsorship is $2,000 for the Spring Meeting or $5,000 for both the April Spring Meeting and upcoming October Fall Meeting.
